Welcome to CatPawCreations

Hi everyone, welcome to my blog. I am so excited to get it up and running. I hope you will enjoy viewing all the cards that we have been making in my clubs and make 'n takes this summer and the upcoming projects for the following months. You can make them too! Just contact me and we can schedule a workshop, sign you up for a make 'n take, stamp a stack or you can purchase the cards from me or buy the kits and make them yourself. I have listed the products that I have used on these projects and you can easily order them right off this site.

Happy Easter to all my great stamping friends

I think that the Love Letters Designer Paper has to be one of my favorites.  The black, red, and very vanilla are so classy with all their different designs.
Other Papers:  Soft Suede, Very Vanilla, Basic Black
Stamp Set for Words:  Notably Ornate.
Misc:  Flowers were punched out of the Fancy Flowers Punch, Extra Large, (I punched 3 out and scrunched them up like I was throwing them away so that they had some texture and would stand out).  Photo corners punch, 1-3/4" X 7/8" Large Oval Punch, Crimper, 3" Circle Die, 3-1/2" Circle Die, Eyelet Border Punch, Chantilly Crochet Trim, Black Grossgrain Ribbon, Antique Brad, Champaign Smooch Spritz, Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder.

I find so many card ideas with this stamp set "Sense of Time."  Probably one of the best investments I have made in all the stamps I have ever added to my collection.
The cardstock is, Whisper White, Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Very Vanilla, and Newsprint Designer Paper.  The Clock and the saying were stamped with Versa Mark and embossed with black embossing powder.  The Crumbcake piece in the background I stamped the little wheels all over and then sponged the edges with Crumbcake.  I spritzed the strip on top of the crumb cake piece with log cabin smooch spritz and attached it with black brads.  The little saying has a cute little library clip to the top of it.  They can be found in the Stampin'Up! catalog on page 187.

With Easter almost upon us I want to wish you all a blessed occasion and want to thank everyone for their support.  I look forward to spring to finally be here as does everyone.

This is the last month for the current mini catalog and a great new one will be coming your way around the middle of the month.  Let me know if you don't get one and I'll be sure to get one to you.

LOTS OF LAYERS

The front of this card has several layers.  Layer number one: Very Vanilla with edges rolled with the Very Vintage Jumbo wheel in Early Espresso, then a layer of Black, then another Very Vanilla with the entire piece rolled with the Very Vintage Jumbo wheel again, then a window sheet that I purchased that was already stamped with a design, then the black, the Bravo Burgandy cardstock with the Very Vanilla piece stamped with the On Your Birthday stamp set, black brads, checkered ribbon and the little Trinket Key that is in the mini catalog.
The left inside side of the card the Very Vanilla is rolled with the Music Notes roller wheel, then a layer of First Edition Designer paper, a heart shaped doiley stamped with a sentiment and also the Bliss Stamp Set then a piece of velume is on top of that and is attached with photo corners.
The inside right hand side is rolled with the Music Notes roller wheel, then a piece of Bravo Burgandy paper, Very vanilla is stamped with the Winter Post stamp set on the bottom and the Definitions set on the top left hand corner.  I punched a picture of a Vintage Lady for the right hand corner.
Here you can view the entire inside of the card.
