Welcome to CatPawCreations

Hi everyone, welcome to my blog. I am so excited to get it up and running. I hope you will enjoy viewing all the cards that we have been making in my clubs and make 'n takes this summer and the upcoming projects for the following months. You can make them too! Just contact me and we can schedule a workshop, sign you up for a make 'n take, stamp a stack or you can purchase the cards from me or buy the kits and make them yourself. I have listed the products that I have used on these projects and you can easily order them right off this site.

I was inspired by Darlene McCallam again on this card.  Here is another way to use the Framed Tulip Embossing folder again by using the corner punch and then putting the corners in the embossing folder.
Paper:  Springtime Vintage DP, Bahama Breeze,         Whisper White
5/8" Organza Ribbon, Addornments

I am working on getting our clubs ready for January so have been busy doing that.  I am also trying to organize a Stamp A Stack for the end of January.  I hope everyone is keeping busy and not letting this wet weather get you down.  This is a hard time of the year for me to readjust.  It seems like you are so busy getting ready for Christmas and it comes so fast and then it's over.  You're tired, but not wanting to slow down.  I am ready for spring already.  Enough winter for this girl!

Remember to watch the clearance rack, there are different things on it all the time and very great prices.  You can go to the clearance rack on this blog and get into it easily.  Also check out the Filled With Love Promotion.

Still Trying to get Organized

This clipboard was a quick project that I made and had so much fun with.  I purchased some clipboards from Office Depot and covered this one with the Botanical Gazette designer paper from the new holiday mini catalog.   I also purchased some 6X6 cork sheets and cut one down so that I could get everything to fit.  The little calendar was one I printed from my Digital Silhoutte cutter.  I also used some scrap designer paper to fill in.  The scrolls are from dies.  This is a retired die from Stampin'Up! but you could use the Decorative Accents die from the big 2010-2011 catalog on page 207.  I made the flower with the Botanical Gazette designer paper and cut it out of the Blossom Party Die and put an antique brad in the middle, (they can be found on page 187).  I love those antique brads!

Organizing For 2011

This year I made my Day Planner.  I am actually very pleased on how it turned out.  I have my calendars, coupon folder, receipt folder, 3 other misc. folders, a address section.  So much fun to make.

I used some of the new designer papers in the mini catalog called "Botanical Gazette."  This is such pretty paper, very vintage.  I have the Silhoutte Digital Cutting Tool that I downloaded the calendar and printed them off to the size I needed.  So sweet, I really like this tool.  I stamped the clock with the Sense of Time set.  Put a bird, butterfly and bee on it that I stamped from the new Nature Walk set.  The swirls were from the Decorative Accent die.  I cut the piece apart and layed them over the front.  The binding is Rose Red seam binding from the mini catalog.
